The intersection of life, computational, and statistical sciences is changing rapidly as new technologies inspire and enable innovative approaches to research and analysis. These developments are creating significant opportunities within and across a wide variety of disciplines as well as new demands. ICB3’s educational and training offerings aim to meet the needs of students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty as well as industry for the skills that are increasingly required by these exciting new approaches to research and analysis.

In addition to working within the traditional academic environment, we are developing public and custom short courses to advance the training of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and industry researchers. Our first initiative is the Summer Training Institute in Reproducible Research with R.
