ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The College of Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking
candidates to join a dedicated and accomplished community of faculty, students,
and staff as the Associate Director for Information Technology. The College is
NCATE-accredited and offers a comprehensive program leading to B.A., Master’s and

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Finance and Facilities, develop,
implement, monitor, revise and continually improve procedures, to insure high
quality technology support and services to the College of Education, its faculty,
staff, students, and administrators, including infrastructure, security,
equipment, and customer service, in compliance with College, University policies
and procedures, and federal and state laws. Serve as the College’s liaison with
the Office of Information Technologies, technology vendors, and other entities
with regard to server, software, hardware, infrastructure, and equipment purchase
and maintenance, security protocols, policies and procedures.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 2 years of
professional experience providing complex network and technology support and
incident response. Experience in higher education or research environment

Hiring Salary Range: $49,900 - $62,700; Normal Starting Salary: $49,900 - $46,300.
