DATA ENTRY MANAGER

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

 

The Data Entry Manager supervises all functions related to admissions application

and decision data entry and manages admissions databases and the production of

applicant communications. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of increasingly

    responsible supervisory experience in a production / workflow environment are

    required.

 

2.  Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the

 

    degree.

3.  Must have the proven ability to organize, supervise and manage the daily

    operations, goal-setting, and performance management of a production unit,

    with an established record of meeting targeted production goals.

 

4.  Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, experience

    resolving errors in a computerized database system, and experience building

    positive working relationships and implementing process improvements are

    required, as are excellent communication skills.

 

5.  Preferred qualifications include a working knowledge of admissions policies

    and procedures and previous experience working with document imaging /data

    management systems, report-writing tools, and a student information database

    system.

 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $40,100 - $50,300.  Normal Starting Salary: $40,100 - $45,200.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA MANAGER

STUDENT AFFAIRS TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

 

The Digital Communications and Media Manager is responsible for developing,

designing and maintaining creative web and digital media solutions to support

Student Affairs and Campus Life through effective concept development, content

gathering, layout, illustration, production and programming.   This position

works collaboratively with University Relations staff to ensure solutions meet

client and University needs, align with the branding strategy, and meet

University polices and standards.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information/graphic design,

    technology or related field plus a minimum of five (5) years of progressive

    experience managing websites and/or digital media.

2.  Extensive experience managing websites using CMS.

3.  Knowledge of multimedia content platforms and databases: HTML5, Drupal,

    Joomla,CSS, PHP

4.  Must have strong user (student) understanding and demonstrated expertise in

    Web content, usability, architecture, development and design.

5.  Familiarity with Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Vimeo, YouTube,

    Digg, StumbleUpon, Tumblr, Livestream, Foursquare, etc.

6.  Experience in a customer-oriented environment.  Strong organizational,

    written, and customer service skills. Must be able to work constructively in

    a team environment.  High energy, hands-on management and coaching abilities.

    Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

7.  Demonstrated ability to move multiple projects forward to successful

    completion and to coordinate the work of others in a leadership role. 

    Ability to work in a challenging environment with competing priorities.

8.  Excellent planning and web project management skills across multiple

    simultaneously developing platforms such as websites, social media, apps,

    mobile, etc.

9.  Experience developing and enforcing communications policies and standards for

    a college or other diverse, multi-departmental organization.

10. Excellent skills in graphic design software (i.e., Adobe Suite –Photoshop,

    Illustrator, InDesign).

11. Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments and

    projects.

Preferred:

12. Working knowledge of PHP, SQL, and JavaScript.

13. Demonstrated experience with Drupal.

14. Familiarity with video production/editing tools (Final Cut Pro)

15. Experience in higher education environment.

 

Hiring Salary Range: $48,800 - $61,200.  Normal Starting Salary: $48,800 - $55,000.
