Employee Self-Service

HR Direct is a University of Massachusetts online system. It offers employees self-service. Log into HR Direct with your Net ID to:

  • View and update your personal information
  • View and update your emergency contacts
  • View your pay statements
  • Enroll or update your direct deposit information
  • View and Print a copy of your W2
  • Edit your W4 and M4 tax withholding information

Name Changes

Certain personal information cannot be changed through HR Direct. This includes name changes. For these changes, you may either complete a form at our Employee Service Center or submit a written notice indicating what information should be changed and to what it should be changed. For name changes, we require proof of your social security card with your new name.
