Her publications include articles on Guinea-Bissau, which have appeared in the Journal of African History, Current Bibliography of African Affairs, and the Revista Internacional de Estudos Africanos. Her book, Ominous Transition: Commerce andColonial Expansion in the Senegambia and Guinea, 1857-1919, was published in 1997.
