Michael Chrzanowski

Portrait of Michael Chrzanowski

My name is Michael Chrzanowski! I am a Junior History Major at UMass Amherst. My focus in history centers around European studies, especially the late eighteenth century and the French Revolution. When I’m not in class or in office hours as a Peer Mentor, I also serve as a CSA at the Dickinson Service Desk as part of UMass Res Life. I am a member of a number of clubs, including the UMass Super Smash and eSports. I plan on pursuing graduate school so I can become a Professor of History, and this is the first step in helping students navigate the ins and outs of the History department at UMass. Feel free to email me or visit me in office hours with any questions!

Amanda Lorenzo

Portrait of Amanda Lorenzo

Hello! my name is Amanda Lorenzo and I'm a junior at the University double majoring in History and Legal Studies. I plan on continuing my education in international law after I complete my undergraduate studies. I am also involved with the Daily Collegian and work with the Special Transportation department at UMass Transit. Over this last summer I spent six weeks at Trinity College, Oxford University (as well as traveling through Europe) with HFA's Oxford Summer Seminar. I'd be more than happy to answer questions and talk about my experience with the major, studying abroad, or anything else about the college experience! My office hours are Monday and Friday from 11:30 to 1:00, and I'd love to have the opportunity to meet as many of you as possible!
