Panel Discussion: Moral Injury and the Traumas of War
Join us for the final event of the series Waging Peace in Vietnam: a panel discussion on "Moral Injury and the Traumas of War" featuring Doug Anderson, a poet and combat medic in the Vietnam War, Ross Caputi, an Iraq War veteran and UMass history graduate student, Karen Skolfield, an Army veteran and poet, and Wayne Smith, a community activist and former combat medic in Vietnam. The discussion will be moderated by Amherst College professor Khary Polk.
This event is part of the Waging Peace in Vietnam exhibit and series documenting the antiwar dissent of active duty military personnel and veterans during the Vietnam War, on display at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst from September 23 through October 11 in the main lobby of the Integrated Learning Center.
