Please join Dr. Julie de Chantal and Dr. Laura Lovett during Spring break events part of “On the Same Page,” a community reading program at the Jones Library in Amherst,  featuring the nonfiction title The Secret History of Wonder Woman by Jill Lepore.
7 volumes of the book are available throughout the Five College libraries.

From Emmeline Pankhurst to Ms. Magazine: William Moulton Marston, Wonder Woman, and Feminism - Julie de Chantal explores the history of feminism in the United States from the 1840s to the 1970s. She will especially focus on the influence of Massachusetts’ feminist movements upon William Moulton Marston and his Wonder Woman character.

Julie de Chantal is a Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
