| September 25 | CHFA Convocation – Visioning Grant Process launched. |
| October 12 | Drop-in information session (10 to 12 noon) - Herter 601. |
| October 29 | Single page précis due – visioning@hfa.umass.edu. |
| December 14 | Visioning Steering Committee announces list of selected précis and those faculty members are invited to submit expanded proposals. |
| January 9 | Information session on expanded proposals 10 to 12 noon -- Herter 601. |
| February 4 | Five-page expanded proposals and supporting materials due – visioning@hfa.umass.edu. |
| Mid-March | Steering Committee submits final recommendations for grant recipients to Dean Joel Martin. |
| Late spring | Dean announces the grant selections. |
Note: Funds will be available in the new fiscal year, on or soon after July 1, 2008. |
