Dear Friends,
After this issue, Illuminating will go on hold while the College completes a thorough review of its electronic presence, and identifies a new person to take over the editorial role I have enjoyed for almost four years. I have accepted a very exciting position as the Communications Coordinator for a private medical school, and am leaving UMass Amherst on July 17. I have truly loved getting to know many of you, becoming familiar with your work, hearing your stories and publishing your many outstanding successes. I am firmly of the belief that the Humanities & Fine Arts form the foundation of an education that can be put to good purpose in every field and endeavor. You are the proof! Best wishes,
Laurie Neely '80
