Things to always remember when working on the inside of a computer

• Always make sure the computer is turned off and the power supply is physically unplugged.
• Do not touch any cards (RAM, Video etc.) until you discharge the static from your body. This can be done by touching a bare piece of metal on the computer chassis before picking up the card.
• Never EVER pick up or touch a card by its pins.
• Never connect a PS2 peripheral while a computer is powered on.
