Student Position: Communications & Editorial Assistant
The College of Humanities and Fine Arts (HFA) seeks a communications and editorial assistant to support the Director of Marketing and Communications. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, responsible, and has an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Duties include: updating the website; maintaining the HFA events calendar; assisting with the creation of content for HFA print and digital collateral; filing, scanning, copying, and other office tasks as needed. Some special projects and other duties may be performed as needed.
Clerk IV, Department of Art
Assistant to the Department Chair. Particular emphasis on personnel actions and maintenance of personnel files. Provides administrative and clerical support to the Chair, faculty, and administrative staff, including special projects, office work flow, academic support, correspondence, data compilation, and records control. Often performs duties of a sensitive and confidential nature. Must be able to: coordinate many different administrative duties; learn, identify, and independently interpret and communicate complex policies and procedures; set deadlines and priorities and complete projects accordingly; keep records and files; screen mail, telephone calls, and visitors; maintain confidential files; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, faculty, and other University personnel.
Italian Lecturer, Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures
The Italian Program in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, invites applications for a one-year, temporary Lectureship. This position is a part-time appointment at 75% time, teaching 3 courses per semester.
Program Coordinator, Arts Extension Service
The Arts Extension Service, a partially self-sustaining program in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, provides arts management instruction with the purpose to make the arts more accessible to a greater audience throughout the United States. The Program Coordinator of the Arts Extension Service reports to the Director. This person is responsible for the planning, developing, implementing, managing and evaluating of education programs and events as well as the administrative aspects of the program. Additional responsibilities include recruitment, supervision and advising for professional guest faculty, speakers and participants; marketing and fundraising for the programs; teaching on-line and face-to-face classes; consulting, writing, coordination and delivery of programs including programs for the new Arts Entrepreneurship Initiative.
