English: Dramatic Literature and Performance

Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track

 

 

Assistant Professor, tenure-track, to begin Fall 2009.  Focus on dramatic literature and performance. Preference will be given to specialization in one or more of the following areas: African American, Asian American, Native American, Caribbean, Commonwealth drama or Performance Studies.  The successful candidate will develop and teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate drama courses, including survey courses in Modern and Contemporary drama, and be conversant with interdisciplinary approaches to literature and contemporary theories of performance.  Qualifications: Ph.D., relevant scholarship, and demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.  Salary is commensurate with qualifications.   Send applications (three letters of recommendation, vita, and sample of written work) to:
