Recreational Resources: Introduction

The plans for recreational resources throughout Connecticut are many. Connecticut is fortunate to have such a richness of landscape that can provide tremendous recreational opportunities; from the sweeping Connecticut River valley to the craggy hillsides in the uplands, down to the miles of sandy beaches along Long Island Sound. Current recreational resources in the state are numerous, and the opportunity for more is limitless.
