Student Log-In Instructions for MyStudentBody-Alcohol

1. Go to www.mystudentbody.com. (This course will take about 90 minutes to complete.)

2. Go to “Is this your first time? Click here to register” and click “Go”.

3. Login using the UMass code (UMASSA) and create a unique username and password. IMPORTANT: Be sure to write down your username and password so that if you need to go back to the course, you can. Otherwise you will have to start from the beginning again.

4. Complete all of the information, and read (and then click that you read) the terms of agreement. Click “submit”.

5. Your demographic data is used to help personalize the site. After completing and confirming this information, continue to the MSB Lobby. Click on the icon “Alcohol”.

6. The first time you click into MSB-Alcohol from the MSB Lobby, you will be asked to identify whether you are visiting by choice or as a requirement. Click on “as a requirement”, and answer the three remaining questions. Click “continue”. The next screen asks which course you are required to take. Click on the course you have been assigned (Greek).Click “continue”.

7. Enter the last four digits of your student ID, first name, and last name. These fields are required! Read (and then click that you read) the privacy statement.

8. Take the pre-quiz. Click “continue”. Answer the “Rate Myself” questions and review your personalized feedback. If you logout before completing all four “Rate Myself” sections, you will need to repeat them once you login again. *** If you wish to logout of mystudentbody.com and finish it later you may. Be sure to click on the “Logout” button in the upper right hand corner before leaving the program. If you click your browser to exit instead, you will lose all of the information you put in.

9. On the “Course Content” screen, read the instructions and click “continue”. Read all of the sections (articles, strategies, and tools). It might be helpful to take notes. You will need to remember this information to pass the post-quiz, which is the final part of the course. If you do not pass (80% or better), the website will direct you back to the sections that you need to reread to pass the quiz.

10. Once you pass, fill out the satisfaction survey, and e-mail your certificate of completion to yourself and to MSB@uhs.umass.edu. *** You MUST enter your name in the field provided and e-mail the certificate to register as “passed” on the web site. Feel free to revisit MSB at any time. This is an interesting and informative web site so relax and enjoy!
