Welcome to the Graduate School's online application. This application will take some time to complete; however, you will need to create a username and password at the start so that you can save your work at each step and return to any unfinished pages until the application is ready to be submitted. After the application is electronically submitted, you will be shown an application transmittal confirmation page which you are encouraged to print for your records.

Near the end of this application you are required to write a brief, but carefully written, Personal Statement detailing (1) the reasons why you want to do graduate work in this particular field, (2) your specific interests and experiences in this field, (3) any special skills or experiences that may relate to an assistantship, and (4) your career plans. If you are not in a position to write this statement now, you can electronically submit your application, then send your Statement to the Graduate Admissions Office by surface mail within a few days of the online submission of the application.

To expedite the processing of your application you can pay your application fee by either Visa or MasterCard through this online application using the University's secured server. We do understand, however, that some applicants may be concerned about providing their credit card number over the Internet; therefore, we do provide the option of sending a check or money order by surface mail. Bear in mind however, that your application will remain unprocessed until the fee payment or waiver form is received by the Graduate Admissions Office.
