The Graduate Student Grant Services (GSGS) web page provides a central location for resources in support of research and scholarly activities for UMASS graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. Some of these include links to:

- Community of Science (COS) - provides information on funding opportunities and information on UMASS faculty expertise in all disciplines from the following web address http://www.cos.com
- COS Funding Opportunities - an on-line resource of funding information. Access this extensive database by logging on with a UMASS account and selecting COS Funding Opportunities from the COS web page.
- COS Expertise - research and scholarly activities of UMASS faculty members from all disciplines. Select COS Expertise from the COS web page.
- The Illinois Research Information Service (IRIS) - provides campus members another option for locating funding information and can be directly accessed at http://www.library.uiuc.edu/iris/
- IRIS Funding Opportunities - a database of funding opportunities containing information of federal and non-federal funding opportunities for all levels of academic study and research.
- IRIS Alert Services - allows any campus member to create individual search profiles that are run against the IRIS database of funding opportunities and sent via e-mail at intervals specified in your profile.
- Opportunity Alert Services - e-mail notices with timely information on relevant funding opportunities. Register for one of the many additional e-mail funding alert services at http://www.umass.edu/gradschool/gsgs/alert.html
- Nextwave - a weekly service particularly suited to graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and new faculty in the sciences. Access Nextwave at http://www.nextwave.org for information on:
