Have you earned Fall healthcare, tuition or Curriculum Fee retroactively?

If you did not have a Fall 07 assistantship (or did not earn $3,467.75) and you have at least a 10 hour
assistantship this Spring (earning at least $3,467.75)

You will retroactively earn:

• SHIP healthcare for the Fall semester

Check your SPIRE account because you should have already received a $988.04 credit to your
Bursar account. If you think you are eligible for a Fall SHIP waiver, you can e-mail the
Graduate Assistantship Office ( gradappt@resgs.umass.edu ).

If you did not have a Fall assistantship (or did not earn $3,467.75).
And you have at least a 20 hour assistantship this Spring (earning at least $6,935.00).

You will retroactively earn:

• SHIP Healthcare for the Fall semester
• Basic Healthcare for the Fall semester
• Tuition waiver for the Fall semester
• Curriculum Fee waiver for the Fall semester

These waivers will be applied retroactively to your account by the first week of April. If you are eligible, check your SPIRE account in early April to make sure your waivers have been applied. If you paid University Health Services for your health plans contact Patient Billing for your refund.
