A candidate for the Master of Science degree in Entomology, in addition to meeting the requirements of the Graduate School, ordinarily must complete the course requirements of Ent 526, 655 and 657 (or approved course) and related sciences or their equivalents as determined by the adviser, committee, and the student. Continuous registration in at least one graduate seminar is required throughout the period of residence. A thesis is usually required, but in special cases, course credits in the series, including at least 3 credits in Ent 697, may be substituted.

Requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy degree include the course requirements for the M.S. degree, Ent 690 and either 511, 585 or 683, Bioepi 540 Introductory Biostatistics, Biol 528 Principles of Evolution, and those established by the Graduate School and the student's committee. Interested students should contact Professor Roy Van Driesche, the Grad-uate Program Director, for the most current requirements.
