Open Positions
M.S./Ph.D. Positions The Goddard Research Group anticipates having at least one opening for Ph.D. students in September 2012 in the areas of antioxidant materials development. Descriptions of our current areas of research focus are described on the research page. More detail on current research can be found by reading our recent publications. To be considered for these projects, students must apply to the graduate program in the Department of Food Science at UMass, Amherst. If you are interested in research in the Goddard Lab, please make note of this in your application. Independent research projects for students completing a 1-year M.S. are also available, beginning in the fall term. If you are interested in conducting independent research in the Goddard Lab as part of your 1-year M.S. program, please contact Julie Goddard to discuss possible projects. Undergraduate Research Positions We are currently accepting applications for highly motivated undergraduate students interested in conducting independent research for credit or work study.
