Earl W. Stafford '76 Gives Back to UMass and to the Community

Earl W. Stafford, ‘76, a successful entrepreneur and founding director of the UMass Amherst Foundation Board, embodies the kind of giving back that UMass Amherst appreciates and needs. His most recent philanthropic endeavor demonstrated his powerful leadership and creativity beyond the UMass Amherst campus.

Through the generosity of Stafford, his family, and the faith-based Stafford Foundation, the People’s Inaugural Project was created to bring underserved people from all over the country to Washington, D.C.  to participate in the inauguration of Barack Obama.
