Billy Taylor Endowment for Jazz Residencies Builds on Success of Jazz in July
The Billy Taylor Endowment for Jazz Residencies brings rising jazz artists to campus to reach and inspire students in a unique way. The new residencies, named in honor of jazz great Billy Taylor, renowned for his spirited bop piano work, will build on the success of Jazz in July an annual intensive two-week jazz summer institute, and provide a year-round continuum of mentors for the next generation of jazz greats.
