Douglas A. Berthiaume ’71
Douglas A. Berthiaume is chairman and chief executive officer of Waters Corporation of Milford, Mass., a manufacturer of sophisticated instruments used to measure chemicals in pharmaceuticals, foods, industrial chemicals and biomaterials. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMass Amherst in 1971 and in 2005 received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the university. Berthiaume lives in Andover, Mass.
