Eugene Isenberg ’50
President
Eugene M. “Gene” Isenberg is chairman and chief executive officer of Nabors Industries Ltd. based in Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the American Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers. The Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst bears his name in recognition of his contributions for construction of the new management school, scholarships, and endowment of professorships. Isenberg received his bachelor’s degree in economics from UMass Amherst in 1950 and his master’s from Princeton University in 1952. In 2000, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from UMass Amherst. Isenberg lives in Palm Beach, Florida.
