Matthew F. Sutton ’86
Matthew F. Sutton is the managing partner of Lionheart Ventures, a boutique operating company with the primary mission of acquiring and developing middle-market manufacturing companies. Sutton was previously managing director for CIBC World Markets Corporation. Sutton received a bachelor’s degree in political science from UMass Amherst in 1986. His father, Gordon Sutton, is a retired professor of sociology at the university. In 1997 he created the Gordon and Dolores Sutton Scholarship Fund at UMass Amherst to promote ethnic diversity and economic opportunity. Sutton lives in Cambridge, Mass.
