Charlena Seymour
Charlena Seymour is provost and senior vice chancellor for academic affairs at UMass Amherst. She was chair of the Council of Graduate Schools Advisory Committee on Minorities in Graduate Education and president of the Northeast Association of Graduate Schools in 2002 and 2003. She received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Howard University and master’s and doctorate degrees from The Ohio State University. Seymour lives in Amherst.
