Andrew T. Rudd
Andrew T. Rudd is founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Advisor Software, Inc., a firm based in Lafayette, Calf. that offers analytics to the retail financial services market. Rudd and his wife, Virginia, donated $2.5 million for an endowed professorship in psychology, as well as funds for the Amherst campus’s Rudd Field, home to the men’s and women’s soccer teams. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics from Sussex University in England and a master’s in operations research, a master’s in finance and international business, and a doctorate, all from the University of California, Berkeley. Rudd lives in Orinda, Calif.
