Gordon N. Oakes Jr. ’63, H’88
Gordon N. Oakes Jr. is co-founded Oakes Interactive, a company that focuses on custom multimedia development for Fortune 500 companies. He is a former member of the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees, which he chaired from 1989 to 1991. He received a bachelor’s degree in animal science in 1963 from UMass Amherst and in 1988 was awarded an honorary doctorate from the university. Oakes lives in South Deerfield, Mass.
