The Translation Center at UMass

The Translation Center was founded in 1980 by faculty members of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts interested in helping individuals and organizations in the Commonwealth with their translation and interpretation needs. Over the years, it has served as a base for mostly academic and literary translation.

The Translation Center is a sub-department of the Comparative Literature Department and is affiliated with the foreign language departments at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
