Thatcher Road CLOSED to through traffic for ten weeks beginning Monday, April 23

Thatcher road will be closed from Chancellor's Way to Worcester DC in order to build concrete retaining walls for the LSL.  The closure will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM week days, starting on April 23, 2012 and extending for approximately 10 weeks (end July 1, 2012).  The pedestrian trail from Orchard Hill to Worcester DC will remain open as will the entrance to the University Health Services parking lot.  The road will not be closed during Commencement, May 11 and 12.   Electronic signs warning of the road closure will be installed on Thatcher Road at the intersections of Eastman Lane and Chancellor's Way.  Police officers will also be provided.  Pedestrian traffic along the entire length of Thatcher Road will be maintained (see map, right).

Natural Resources Road Closed

Natural Resources Road is currently closed to through traffic due to a water main break west of Holdsworth.  Lot 65 on the west side of Natural Resources Road is also closed.  Physical Plant personnel are working on the problem and hope to have Lot 65 open by Monday and water main repairs completed by the middle of next week.
