A Section Of Holdsworth Way Closed 

A section of Holdsworth Way from the Campus Center Way intersection to the southwest corner of Stockbridge Hall is now CLOSED.

Amherst Renews Work On North Pleasant Street

THE TOWN OF AMHERST has returned to continue work on North Pleasant Street from Triangle Street to Massachusetts Avenue.

North Pleasant Street is once again CLOSED to southbound traffic from Massachusetts Avenue to Fearing Street.  Southbound North Pleasant Street traffic is being detoured onto Massachusetts Avenue, Lincoln Avenue and Fearing Street.  Northbound traffic will be allowed through.  (See map)

Work is taking place between 6AM and 4PM, weekdays.  The roadway will reopen to two-way traffic on evenings and weekends.  Please watch for and follow all detour signs.

Please note that we do not, at this writing, have any specific timetable from the Town of Amherst as to when they expect to complete work in the area.  We have requested this information, and it will be posted when available.

Clark Hill Road Closed Through July 28

Clark Hill Road will be CLOSED to through traffic for construction related to the Butterfield & Baker Sprinkler Project through Monday, July 28.  A portion of Chancellors Way, from the Clark Hill Road intersection to the northwest corner of Van Meter will also remain closed until the end of August.

Chancellors Way Closed From Thatcher To Stockbridge

The first phase of this project involves PERMANENTLY CLOSING Chancellors Way from Thatcher Way to Stockbridge Road and a TEMPORARY CLOSING of the Infirmary Way/UHS parking lot.  The northwest connection of Chancellors Way and Thatcher Way is also TEMPORARILY CLOSED this week for manhole installation (see graphic).

Please bear in mind that construction is also taking place in the Chadbourne-Van Meter-Butterfield area, with the Chancellors Way/Clark Hill Road intersection CLOSED to through traffic until mid-August; therefore, Chancellors Way traffic headed for North Pleasant Street, Amherst Center and points south will need to go by way of Orchard Hill Road and East Pleasant Street.
