During the first year of the Women of UMass Amherst initative, gatherings were held in the Washington, DC and Boston areas to bring alumnae and women friends of UMass Amherst to learn more about about the role the university has played in their lives and how the initiative will work to in support of UMass Amherst. During the coming year more events are planned. Check back to this page for updates.
Liz Leggat Klass ’73 invited friends and alumnae to her home in Arlington, Virginia for an hors d’ouevres reception and conversation about why UMass Amherst has played such an important role in our lives and how we can have an impact on the campus today and in the future.
