Earl W. Stafford is founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Universal Systems and Technology (UNITECH), a telecommunications firm based in Centreville, Virginia.  He received a bachelor’s degree in business from UMass Amherst in 1976, a master’s in business administration from Southern Illinois University, and attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education program. Stafford lives in Fairfax, Virginia.

Matthew F. Sutton is the managing partner of Lionheart Ventures, a boutique operating company with the primary mission of acquiring and developing middle-market manufacturing companies. Sutton was previously managing director for CIBC World Markets Corporation. Sutton received a bachelor’s degree in political science from UMass Amherst in 1986.  His father, Gordon Sutton, is a retired professor of sociology at the university. In 1997 he created the Gordon and Dolores Sutton Scholarship Fund at UMass Amherst to promote ethnic diversity and economic opportunity. Sutton lives in Cambridge, Mass.

Toivo Tammerk is the UMass Amherst interim vice chancellor for advancement and interim executive director of the UMass Amherst Foundation. Before coming to UMass Amherst as assistant vice chancellor for development, Tammerk was vice president for institutional advancement at Hartwick College, and prior to that, director of regional development programs at the University of Maryland, College Park. He has served as president of The Conservancy in Florida in executive positions in aviation management, and in marketing for a Fortune 500 company. Tammerk received a bachelor of science degree from Rutgers University and lives in Amherst.

Stephen P. Tocco is president and chief executive officer of ML Strategies, a consulting firm based in Boston. He is chair of the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees and a former chair of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education.  Tocco received a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and chemistry from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and was awarded a CSS in administration and management from Harvard University and an honorary PhD in humane letters from Nichols College. He lives in Reading, Mass.

Lieselle Trinidad is a candidate in the master's/doctoral program in mechanical engineering at UMass Amherst. Her research focuses on the design and optimization of assistive and rehabilitation devices and is a collaborative work with the biomechanics lab in the exercise science department.  She received a bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo. Trinidad lives in Northampton.

Herbert L. Tyson is a former student representative to the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees and served on the board of the UMass Amherst Alumni Association. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from UMass Amherst in 1982 and a master’s in public policy from Tufts University. Tyson lives in Potomac, Maryland.

Lawrence Zacharias is a professor in UMass Amherst's Isenberg School of Management and chairs the Faculty Senate's University Advancement Council. He joined the faculty in 1982 after practicing law for several years. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and two master’s degrees and a law degree from Columbia University. Zacharias lives in Amherst.
