QIU, Peiju
Ph.D. Student

Peiju is investigating combinations of flavonoid compounds and commonly used pharmacological drugs in terms of possible synergy in the inhibition of colon cancer development.

MONGKONTANAWUT, Narumon
Ph.D. Student

Narumon is studying improvement of beta-glucan production in yeast Saccharomyces  cerevisiae, and its implication in immunomodulation.

NUTAKUL, Wasamon
Master/Ph.D. Student

Wasamon's project is centered on the anti-carcinogenic activities of dietary flavonoids, such as resveratrol and pterostilbene. She is also studying anti-angiogenesis by these compounds using human umbilical vein endothelial cells.

SOBERS, Hana Shatara
Master Student

Hana is developing sensitive methods for the detection and quantification of dietary flavonoid compounds, and studying their bioavailability using an intestine cell monolayer model.

Postdoctoral Associates

DONG, Ping
Postdoc

Ping's project involves isolation, synthesis, and characterization of potential anti-carcinogenic dietary components. Recently, she has taken a challenging project on identification of key oncoproteins as targets of polymethoxyflavones.
