ITVS International Call 2010
Announcing the ITVS International Call 2010: The next submission deadline is February 5, 2010. Even if you've previously applied for funding, you are welcome to apply again with the same project or an entirely new one.
As of Monday, October 12, the 2010 International Call Q Forum will be up online to post questions and/or comments about submitting a project. This will be open through the deadline and throughout the phases of the Call to keep you informed of updates within our timeline. The Blazing Reel Short Film Competition
In light of the success of our Blazing Quill Screenwriting Competition, Wilson Wheaton Productions is pleased to announce our newest competition. The Blazing Reel Short Film Competition is designed to provide independent short filmmakers the opportunity to further develop their careers and gain more exposure in the film industry.

The competitive
Annual Prize of $2,500 Awarded to a single student or divided between
two students enrolled in the university's Undergraduate Film Studies
Certificate Program whose film, video, or moving image media work demonstrates
exceptional creativity and accomplishment. Students must be nominated by
a Professor.

American
Gem Short Script Contest
The
American Gem Literary Festival invites people from anywhere in
the world to submit:
- scripts ranging from
a minimum of 3 pages up to a maximum of 45,
requiring that at least one character, male or female, is
American. It must also be possible to produce the winning script
on a low-budget.
- short stories ranging
from a minimum of 350 words up to a maximum
of 12,500 words.
- treatments ranging
from a minimum of one page (250 words) up to a
maximum of 20 (5000 words).
- log-line, no more
than 90 words (brief description - one to two
sentences describing the plot).
American Gem will produce
the first place winner's script, and the
winner will get to pitch their script to a producer, agent
or studio
executive.
