The Rudd Adoption Research Program is now accepting applications for the 2017 Summer Adoption Research Institute, to take place on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus from May 21 - 26. Graduate students and recent Ph.D.s with strong interest in a career involving adoption research are invited to apply.

The Institute provides an opportunity for extended interactions and community-building among a small group of participants and research faculty. All attendees are expected to participate throughout the week.

The Institute will bring eminent researchers to campus to discuss their work. Methodological topics like data organization and management and longitudinal data analysis will be interspersed with discussions of adoption in global perspective, balancing the personal and professional, the history of adoption, research funding, and more.
