Yesel Yoon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland in College Park in 2008. While in undergrad, she served as a research assistant in the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Lab in the clinical psychology department under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Chronis-Tuscano. After college, Yesel worked on several projects during my two years as a full time research assistant in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Her graduate career in Clinical Psychology began in the Fall 2010 semester. She is currently working with Dr. David Scherer, building upon her research interest in children, adolescents, and families. Most currently, the data collection process of her master's thesis project titled, "Role of Family Routines and Rituals on Psychological Well-Being of Emerging Adults" is underway.
