Marianne Tichovolsky is a fourth year Clinical Psychology doctoral student at UMass Amherst. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and worked as a research assistant in the Child and Family Research Section of the NICHD. She is primarily interested in parenting and parent-child relationships as well as the role they play in the development of psychopathology in children. The CRF assistantship award will support her work with Dr. David Arnold (using data provided by Dr. Lisa Harvey from her longitudinal study of high-risk preschoolers) examining how fathers' depressive symptoms and children's internalizing symptoms covary over time.
