Teachers, school administrators, teaching artists and cultural organizations all work to support lively arts instruction in our schools. The Western Massachusetts Arts Alliance sponsors networking events and professional development programs to help arts educators to share information and form new educational partnerships. Here's a sampling of our current and past programs, as well as other resources for arts educators.

Kusek. | | Learning Partnerships in the Arts | | | At this event, participants were updated on the activities of the working groups met since the last forum in November, after which Dr. Craig Dreeszen, Director of the Arts Extension Service at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, presented a structured workshop on his nationally-acclaimed "Learning Partnerships" program. | | Art Curriculum Frameworks Training | | | A training on the standardized art curriculum in the Massachusetts public schools offered by the Massachusetts Department of Education's Art Specialist, Barbara Haber.
