The University Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Center building off Massachusetts Avenue. Parking is available in the Robsham Visitors Center, in the Lincoln Campus Center Parking Garage and behind the Fine Arts Center (with a special permit). The University Gallery is wheelchair accessible from its north, pond-level entrance. Parking is free after 5 PM, and on weekends.
For additional information about current exhibitions, programs, tours, or catalogues, please call the Gallery offices at 413-545-3670 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Recorded information is available at other times.
The University Gallery offers guided tours of its current exhibitions led by UMass student docents or a Gallery docent. Tours normally introduce an entire exhibition and last approximately one hour, including time for questions and discussion. Upon request, tours may be customized to suit specific needs.
Guided tours are available to groups of 10 or more people. Large groups (more than 25 people) may require two docents.
Please telephone 413 545 1176 or email efierst@art.umass.edu to reserve your tour at least two weeks in advance. Once your tour is scheduled on our calendar, we will send you confirmation by e-mail.

From I-91 South, take exit 25 in Deerfield . At the end of the ramp, turn left and follow the road to the intersection. Turn right onto Routes 5& 10 South. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Route 116 South. Follow 8 miles to the UMass exit.
From Route 2 West, take exit 16 (Belchertown/Amherst). Follow Route 202 for about 15 miles to a blinking yellow light at the Route 9, Route 116 and Amherst exit in Pelham. Turn right and follow for 7 miles to Amherst center. Follow signs to UMass.
From Route 2 Ease, follow o Greenfield / I-91 exit. Take I-91 South to exit 25 in Deerfield . At the end of the ramp turn left and follow the road to the intersection. Turn right onto Routes 5 & 10 South. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Route 116 South. Follow for 8 miles to the UMass exit.
Take exit 4 ( West Springfield ). Follow I-91 North to Exit 19. From the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 9. Travel approximately 4.5 miles to route 116 North (turn left at traffic lights). UMass exit is 1 mile.
Drive straight uphill along Massachusetts Avenue until you see the Visitors Center on the right and the Haigis Mall with the Fine Arts Center set way back on the left. Parking spaces near the Visitors Center and around the Haigis Mall are metered.
With a temporary parking permit you can continue on Massachusetts Avenue and turn left at the light onto North Pleasant Street . Directly behind the Fine Arts Center (a large complex built in the 1970's of sand colored concrete) turn left and proceed between the Center and the lawn to parking spaces designated 'Fine Arts Center special permit only'. Conveniently, you can enter the Gallery pond-side.
