Performances Plus!, a guest performing arts series for school audiences, is pleased to be working in collaboration with the Daily Hampshire Gazette's Newspaper in Education program. The collaboration allows us to expand the classroom component of this program, providing every student attending the performance with their own copy of the newspaper which includes a full page of information about the performance, activities, related literature and web sites. These pages will be printed on Tuesdays, approximately one week before the performance, and can be used by students along with parents and teachers. In addition, the Fine Arts Center and the Gazette will host a special Newspaper in Education teacher workshop on September 20.
