The 28-member Friends of the Fine Arts Center Board of Directors are community representatives from the Pioneer Valley who love and value the arts and understand their importance to our community life. Their advice, advocacy, and connection to the region are indispensable to the success of the Fine Arts Center. We are enormously grateful for their leadership and engagement in the life of the center -- from advising on key issues to planning the gala to developing new audiences and building long-term financial resources.

Leading the board for the coming season are Kathy Mullin, chair, and William S. Hogan, Jr., vice-chair. New members coming on for a three-year term in September are Carol Moore Cutting of Longmeadow, Thomas G. Davis of Amherst, and Lorna M. Peterson of Amherst. Carol is the President and General Manager of FM 106.3 WEIB Cutting Edge, and Tom is the President and General Manager of WRNX 100.9 FM/WPNI 1430AM in Holyoke. Lorna returns to the board as an ex-officio member representing Five Colleges, Inc. which she heads.

Call for Volunteers

Want to meet people, share a skill, get to know us from the inside, and really make a difference? Then why not consider spending some volunteer time at the Fine Arts Center? The Friends of the Fine Arts Center are looking for volunteers for the Gala and Auction Committee, Development Committee, and for helping out at a Friends information table in the Concert Hall lobby. If you're interested in learning more, please call the Friends' office, 413-545-3671.
