Chancellor David and Kathleen Scott hosted the Director's Circle reception for the Friends of the Fine Arts Center in April. Sadly, this marked the final reception for Friends with the Scotts at Hillside as David Scott departed from his position at UMass in June. Board chair Kathy Mullin presented Kathleen and David with a gift by glass artist Josh Simpson in appreciation of their leadership and generous support for the arts at UMass. Also sharing in the occasion was Miami City Ballet Artistic Director Edward Villela who brought his company to the Concert Hall for a performance that evening.
