American Beauty Project and Dark Star Orchestra rock the Fine Arts Center UMass Celebrates the Grateful Dead in Music, Culture, and Memory Paying homage to the Dead's legendary sound, a roster of acclaimed artists including Ollabelle, Larry Campbell, Theresa Williams, Jim Lauderdale, David Gans and Catherine Russell come together to recreate and perform songs from Workingman's Dead and American Beauty. The Dark Star Orchestra will also perform Grateful Dead classics in the same way that an orchestra interprets music of classical composers. more info | Calling all Sponsors and Donors!

Call the Friends hotline at 413-545-3671. | Miguel Zenon Residency Reflections Jazz saxophonist Miguel Zenon was in residence with his quartet and besides performing on stage, offered workshops and master classes for music students at UMass and the Amherst Regional High School. It was really fun to watch the interaction with the students as each musician exhibited their own unique teaching style and technique. more information
