Much ado about the Center

SAVE THE DATE and get In The Mood The 19th Friends of the Fine Arts Center Gala – In the Mood - is being held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Hotel Northampton. Guests and others may bid on over 100 auction items online beginning January 2. Stay tuned for details and a preview of the enhanced auction. Interested in donating an auction item or being an event sponsor and reaching our online community? Call the Friends hotline at 414-545-3671.

An Illuminating Experience University Gallery is replacing its lights after 30 years. To complete this important project, we need to raise $8000. You can support this important effort and “buy” a fixture for a tax deductible gift of $250. Please note “University Gallery lighting project”. Thank you.

Fine Arts Center donors and subscribers are being treated to a handful of after-parties following select performances. Meant to thank supporters and give them a closer connection, these events often are attended by the artists such as last year’s with Niyaz, DBR and the Mission, and the Stephen Petronio dancers who danced into the wee hours. Rosanne Cash fans and PeoplesBank sponsors gathered to compare notes on Saturday night. Watch your email for invitations for a party you may not want to miss!

Have you voted? Florence Savings Bank is once again inviting its customers to vote for its Customers’ Choice Community Grants. You can help the Fine Arts Center earn a piece of the $50,000 pie by casting your vote today: more…
