CALL FOR ENTRIES

NEW YORK/NEW ENGLAND/NEW TALENT 2005 HAMPDEN GALLERY University of Massachusetts Amherst

Open to emerging artists working in New England and New York. All media. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY MAY 1, 2005. EXHIBITION DATES: September 12 – October 21, 2005

JURORS AND REVIEW PROCESS

All slides will be projected individually – works will be selected from projected slides.

ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Emerging artists from New England (CT, MA, ME , NH, RI, VT,) and New York. Send (in a plastic sheet) 6 slides of recent work labeled with your name, title, dimensions, year made and top indicator. Include a brief artist statement with name, address, phone, and email address printed in the top center of page. (1 page max.) and SASE. Send to NY/NE/NT 2005, Hampden Gallery, 16 Curry Hicks, 100 Hicks Way,UMASS Amherst, MA 01003 BY May 1, 2005.

NOTIFICATION AND RETURN OF SLIDES

Selected artists will be notified by phone and by mail by mid-June. All other applicants will receive the return of their slides and notification by mail by end of June.

EXHBITITION BROCHURE

A full color brochure with essays by the jurors will be printed to accompany the exhibition.
