Campus Arts Celebration

The UMass Arts Council will be hosting a "Celebration of Arts on Campus" on Tuesday, February 5, 2002, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Student Union Ballroom. This event will provide the campus community with an opportunity to experience a brief representation of the exciting arts programming taking place on this campus and generate awareness of the Council's grant programs that provide funding for such events.

Brief performances by student organizations such as Alive with Dance, the UMass Theatre Guild, Vocal Suspects, Short Cuts and Student Valley Productions will be featured. An open house atmosphere will allow guests to gather information from resource tables on the Arts Council, the six University Galleries as well as Arts Council grant funded programs throughout campus. Refreshments will be served at this free event.

For more information, contact the UMass Arts Council at 545-0202.
