Corporate Giving

This year the Fine Arts Center received The Millicent H.Kauffman Distinguished Service Award from the Amherst Chamber of Commerce. It was a fantastic honor which paid tribute to the success of the Fine Arts Center and its partnerships - partnerships within our academic community and partnerships within our business community.

Mass Ensemble's Critical Mass, held spring '06, was a perfect example of a successful partnership-four campus departments and five corporate sponsors worked side-by-side to present this residency.  The week-long celebration focused around the earth harp and Einstein's theories. Activities included a Community Day with 1,500 in attendance, lectures and workshops reaching over 300 persons, a science and art exhibit with 700 visitors, a children's performance reaching 1,400, and an evening performance for 1,300!

The "exceptional" has become "commonplace" at the Fine Arts Center-just a week earlier, the Children of Uganda were in residency with a similar success story. And, in the 2006-2007 season, you will see our Arts and Technology series and numerous other collaborations highlighted.

It is our partnerships that enable us to continue this distinctive and valuable programming - providing not only entertainment but also superb educational opportunities as well.

Please join us as a business partner. Your gift at any level is meaningful in helping present these residencies that reach our campus and regional communities. Business gifts of $100 or more will be acknowledged in our playbill.

If you are interested in a sponsorship or underwriting opportunity, please contact our Director of Development, Lucia Miller (413) 545-3671.
