Angel Ticket Program
Angel
Tickets Event
List
The Fine Arts Center created the Angel Ticket Program
in 2000. This unique program provides human service agencies in
the Tri-County area with complimentary tickets to select performances
at the Fine Arts Center. The Center Series, Asian Arts and Culture Program,
New WORLD Theater, Solos and Duos, and Magic Triangle all make performances available
to this program.
Our Mission: The Angel
Ticket Program of the Fine Arts Center exists to provide complimentary
performance tickets to residents of Hampshire, Hampden and Franklin
Counties whose financial and/or social situation would otherwise
prohibit them from experiencing live performances of the performing
arts by national and international touring artists. Tickets are
granted to the clients of eligible non-profit human-service organizations.
How to get involved:
Tickets are distributed solely through non-profit, human-service
organizations who then coordinate their visit to the Fine Arts Center
with their clients. Tickets are not granted directly to individuals.
To participate, interested organizations must register for the Angel
Ticket Program.
To register on-line click here.
All registered organizations receive a list of Angel
events and a ticket request form.
To see a listing of this year's Angel events click

is set approximately four (4) weeks prior to each event. No request
will be considered until after this deadline. This assures all
organizations an equal chance of receiving tickets no matter when
they first registered for the program.
Distribution of tickets is determined by demand, availability,
and an organization’s previous requests. Every effort is made
to provide each organization with some number of tickets.
In our 2005– 2006 season we received a total
of 3,000 requests for tickets. We
were able to distribute 1,377 tickets.
How are Angel Tickets made possible?
The Fine Arts Center, the Friends of the Fine Arts Center and our
sponsors make
the Angel Ticket Program a reality. Most organizations
can only make complimentary tickets available on short notice –
typically 48-24
hours prior to an event – once they know how ticket sales
are going. The Fine
Arts Center is able to commit tickets well in advance because our
sponsors generously provide support to cover partial cost of each
ticket. This in turn gives
our participating organizations a wide choice of events from which
to choose and ample time to plan their visit to the Center.
Our 2007– 2008 season sponsors (Angels) of $100 or
more to date include:
Partial funding for the Angel Ticket Program has been provided by Hasbro, Inc., and the Xeric Foundation along with individual donors.
Donations are gratefully accepted. You may donate towards this year's tickets or to The Joyce E. and Benedict J. Smar Endowment for Angel Tickets, which ensures the future of this program. To donate click here.
