Something Else to See Improvisational Bordering Styles in African-American Quilts Saturday, February 1 - Saturday, June 7, 1997
The quilts in this exhibition are from the collection of Eli Leon. They were made by twenty-one African-American women who grew up in the South, and represent a special genre of African-American quilts Leon calls "Afro-traditional."
